Rainer Epplemann of CARE international board of directors thanked T.A. Cook and it’s clients during the hand over of the cheque for £1.372.00.
Instead of Christmas presents T.A. Cook asked their clients all over the world to participate in an internet charity campaign “We donate in your name”. For each client who clicked to register T.A. Cook donated £3.50. The campaign was met by such big response that the management decided to increase the total by a further £387.00.
With this amount 400 undernourished children would receive vital therapeutic nutrition.
Almost unnoticed by the world one third of Niger’s population suffers from hunger. Drought and plagues of locusts – food is scarce and expensive.
